Re: Misc Crossroads News

To me, a pork chop is the least exciting item on a menu (maybe after a turkey burger). I feel just about anything on a restaurant menu is more appealing than the pork chop of...

Re: Brookside

we're in the AL (and crossroads) kindergarten lottery, allegedly will find out tomorrow whether we got in. as an AL parent, do you know why AL was bothering to advertise on KCUR for the last few months? seems like with their huge demand and waiting list advertising would not be needed! Maybe they'r...

Re: Cocktails

And they are $6 during happy hour. And happy hour lasts all day on Monday. Pro tip: do not have more than 2. Actually, that's more of...

Re: Downtown Tanners closing?

I know someone who is closely involved with this and from what I understand, they did not use those words. I was told that, after the last shooting, they decided to stop having rap music and it got interpreted that way, by the one person who was booking/promoting those shows.

Ahh, Darlene, do you remember when we sat on that patio on a warm winter day and shared potato salad? One of my fondest memories. I'll never forget those cute shoes you wore.

...because of the density requirements. Crazily enough, though there are no density limits in the loop, Reg Industries (OF COURSE) counts those licenses against RM because they're within the radius. So it sort of fucks RM, so to speak. They do count those, but they are expressly exempt from both in...

Re: Be a Walkable Activist too

All businesses, no matter the size, should provide covered secure parking for their employees who bike. Because if your bike gets wet, it's harder to ride and it might leave a wet spot on you...
