i'd rather see that spot activated 7 days a week instead of 6. HAVING SAID THAT -- yes, absolutely, i'd take a CFA there. it's hard to imagine any change there being a downgrade.

curious to see how this applies to patios—something like brewery emperial or even leinenkugel's, where this time of year a substantial percentage of their customers are outside. if i were those businesses i'd be pissed if i had to effectively limit occupancy to a density of ~half my competitors just...

the SPARK work has been very shitty for the pedestrian experience on the NE corner of that intersection. leap of faith every time you poke your head past the entrance that some idiot isn't about to fly through with a right turn on red. also creates a choke point where peds haven't been able to even ...

Re: Closed Bars and Restaurants

Beignet is closing after 7 years at City Market. This is why I wish some local restaurant executive with a pulse on local restaurant runnings (Joyce) could warn us of potential closings. We could have all hit up Beignet and given some much needed CPR to keep it going in the short term. I know all r...

minor uproar on reddit about q39 making its employees re-apply for their jobs and denying them employee discounts during the interim, with a side order of bonus information about annual revenue at the midtown location (~$10M+).

belfry is holding it down, basically the whole menu available, free 750mL bottle of beer if you spend $25 and i believe it counts even if alcohol helps push you over $25. they did their first run of brunch yesterday and we really enjoyed it, french toast breakfast sandwich w/ bourbon syrup and a veg...

agreed with respect to the ability to get a decent craft beer at most places. if it's gone, i will miss saucer in that it's the only tolerable place in p&L where you can always get an interesting craft beer, or where you can count on enough of a rotation to not be stuck drinking the same thing every...

So if all these business end up filing insurance claims, will companies like AIG end up needing a bailout? There is no way they have this amount of money to cover all these claims only limited forms of business insurance could potentially cover coronavirus-related claims. i suspect the insurers wil...

collection wasn't a rent issue, as she owned the building at all relevant times. duke's transitioned to a new place and will transition to yet another. czar bar is songbird, the deli is still in business, and kokothai's demise has to have been primarily management/logistics or something because the ...
