Are we really still talking about distance from downtown to the airport? Jeeze. Kansas Citians sure are stupid sometimes. NO city wants their airports close to downtown. It's bad business for everyone. Some are just plain stuck with it however due to existing investments. MCI's location is the envy...

That article is very lacking in specifics.
Judging from Macy's past store closure history, I don't believe that they would close all of their stores in the area. The Metro North store though very well could be on the chopping block.

Yeah, the tea party isn't conservative, they're a group of well meaning and scared people being toyed with by a extremists politicians backed by corporate money that want their way no matter who it ends up hurting and it's hurting the very people that vote them in. We don't have the level of confirmed corruption of the Meacham/ Symington era (which was before I was here) but the Arizona state government gives Kansas a run for its money on bad legislation, and not even two months into their terms, the Tea Party governor and Tea Party Superintendent of Public I...
