Re: OFFICIAL - Embassy Suites (former Federal Reserve)

I'm told this project is definitely still a "go" because the economy will be improved by the time it opens in two years and they have their financing.

Isn’t Kemper gone? Thought he was now working in DC?
I should have been more specific. This would be Jonathan, not Crosby.
There’s always a Kemper in the banana stand.
THIS IS THE BEST.

I thought the Drop app was being fixed. It's such a slow checkin/out process (android)
Fixed and replaced. You can still use the Drop app, but the KC market will have its own "white label" version.

Re: KC Bike share

The drop app usability is almost unbearable. It takes entirely too long to check out and in a bike or scooter. It's crazy fast at scanning the qr code though. A new (fully native) version is coming soon. I've seen a preview and it's a big improvement, completely rewritten. Any info on when will thi...

What's the ultimate concept for this place? All along, I've envisioned a KC version of the Ferry Building in San Francisco. https://www.ferrybuildingmarketplace.com/public-health-update/ That would be a worthwhile goal. Teresa Loar - suddenly the champion of downtown projects. Did not expect her to be the one council member attending this morning. The developers said they have a super majority of council votes. If the sudden shift in council support is real, do we think it’s possible that this connected to KC 2026...
