Do we know when the new cars will be in service? I've got a few upcoming rides on the River Runner this Spring and Summer and wondering if there's a chance I will see them.
Amtrak provides no notice, to my knowledge. I rely on message boards and Twitter.

Re: Muehlebach Hotel / KC Club Project

We ate at The Town Company last night. Top notch food, drinks, and service. Only our second time eating indoors in a year, since they don't have any outdoor dining options and won't do room service for hotel guests.

Anybody want to talk about the drastically different treatment by Democrats and the media in regards to Kavanaugh and Cuomo?
Not really. Dems will escort him out. Plenty of talent to replace him. Have you not figured this out yet?

Re: Missouri Amtrak Service

The US platform has construction tape and one side of tracks were ripped up I notice that over the weekend. With reduced frequency, I'm sure they're taking the change to make some needed repairs. The longer Chief consist usually uses that north side, while the River Runner uses the tracks on the so...

Well, it's a little different now with vaccine supply expected to improve dramatically in March (with a third EUA for the J&J vaccine about to drop any day now). Yeah, we could still fuck this up again...

New boutique hotel in the works at 4320 Oak. I guess it used to be a B&B and sold recently. Interior renovation in progress.

I learned yesterday that in the history of TIF in Philadelphia there have been 15 TIFs. Last one was like 2016 and next newest was 2006. Not sure what the conclusion is there, but a data point worth sharing I think. Their market rates are probably higher. Wouldn't that make the math a lot different...
