I don’t know if it’s an upgrade but it’s nice to have a restaurant in their community that’s open 24/7.

Re: Twin Creeks
It does say Tiffany Springs Rd & Platte Purchase, which is north of 152. I've driven all those backroads in all seasons and all times of day. All this bland boring suburban buildout to make it more appeasing for JoCo makes me so sad. Right. I just realized I was thinking of Creekside Village. T...

I'm a fan. I've been there a bunch in Oregon on vacation, the business started there in a town called Grant's Pass. Nitro Cold Brew or the Double Torture for cold drinks (don't look at the calories of the Double torture LOL). Well, I’m happy for the coffee drinkers. The more choices the merrier I a...

Finally opened a location on Barry Road next to Red Lobster. Not a coffee drinker myself but seeing lots of raves about it and the building has a line of cars wrapped around it pretty much from open to close.

Re: New Contruction by Zona Rosa
One is the stations is a Sonoco on the west side and the east side is a KC Liquor and Tobacco if I recall correctly. FYI: The Sonoco should be carrying 93 octane gas, which is good as the nearest others are BP in Platte Ridge and Smithville. Will be happy not to have to travel as far, as the BP is ...

I’ve been going in and out of that QT a few times a week for 25 years and never seen anything happen there except a guy getting caught shoplifting one time. They’re build a new convenience store right there on Old Tiffany Springs right across the street from the swimming pool. Looks like it’s gonna...

I went to that QT at least 4 times a week from 2009-2020, usually some late nights too, I've seen some things. Still got a pic of someone's wh...

Chase Bank has been expanding throughout KC metro rapidly. IIRC we were one of the largest markets for Chase without physical locations. Retail is hard to fill right now, especially new spaces. Yes, it's 'another bank,' but hopefully, a legacy bank like that will stay long term and more filled stor...

Re: Shoal Creek Valley Neighborhood Plan
I thought the Mormon doctrine said that Jesus would return to Earth and set up his global headquarters near Independence, Missouri. Did the KC Metro lose another potential headquarters? Bringham Young changed things up when the Governor of Missouri made it legal to kill Mormons. They said “deuces M...

Re: Shoal Creek Valley Neighborhood Plan
A large parcel of land the Mormon Church owns in KCMO has been placed on the market. The 533 acres are bounded by I-435, N.E. Shoal Creek Parkway, and Highway 152. Another parcel sits northwest of I-435 and NE Soccer Drive. Addition parcels are bounded on the south by Highway 152 and on the north b...

Maybe a BBQ chain new to area like Colton's Steakhouse or even cone back like Famous Daves. In the holy land of BBQ with numerous local chains, I’d argue that the last thing should come in would be a national chain I agree. I can’t believe Dickey’s has managed to survive in KC. Way overpriced and t...
