Re: Stock Hill on the Plaza

Bread and Butter Concpets filled for Bankruptcy but plan to stay open. I am not really that suprised, they haven't really done anything to wow me as a customer, they basically just followed trends in food and never really stood out. Maybe Bread and Butter focused too much on already established and ...

Who knows if Mudbugs would even be around if it wasn't for the crazy KC Eats facebook group, the people on that board prop that place up so fricking much, they post about it almost daily, post the menus in the group daily, etc. The whole KC Eats group is weird but its like the largest local restaura...

That might be what kills SZ. That 7-11 seems like a huge step down from their current location.
Maybe they think people will have easier access to parking if they move

Looks like bonds chicken already closed up. That guy threw a bunch of money on 2 failed businesses at that location now. That bathroom/atmosphere when it was a arcade still gives me nightmares

Re: Downtown Parking Enforcement

However, there's already the perception that there is zero parking downtown by all of the surburbanites or they are too lazy to walk more than half a block. Is it going to negatively affect growth when these people start getting tickets and the KC Star picks it up and blows it out of proportion? Ye...

Re: Bannister Mall/Cerner

Is Cerner is having some internal struggles? Wonder why are all these long time execs are leaving all of a sudden? Could Cerner end up being bought out or merge with someone else. Cerner also seems to be losing marketshare to companies like Epic https://www.kansascity.com/news/business/article236922...

Re: Bay Area short term job/suggestions/help

But in Lee's Summit it's not out in the open where people are setting up camps along farms or in the parks. In the Midwest especially in the burbs it's a little more out of sight

so, got a dose of california reality between having two fires (and a third-degree burned homeless guy who started them) next to my jobsite (we had to actually fight one of them to prevent it from spreading onto our jobsite), traffic (mainly the horror of 3 hour commutes/car sleeping for co-workers)...
