Re: Denver

The closest in and out is 477 miles away in Dallas from downtown, the Eastern Edge of Denver is 580 miles away so if Denver got one it would make no sense if KC got one since Dallas Metro is closer.

Re: KC in TV and Movies

There is a strong strong possibility the show The World According to Jeff Goldblum is going to an episode at the Toy and Miniature Musuem this fall, main focus will be on Miniatures and talk with local artist Bill Robertson

Re: COVID19

Infections are increasing but death rate is dropping. In the past. month we have had 19k deaths vs 100k in 2 months

We are better off if everyone if everyone healthy just got infected and get it over with instead of dragging it out

1,500 new cases in Arizona two weeks after reopening there. Cases spiking in Texas as well.

Tons of people from So Cal are flocking into Arizona because resorts, golf, pools, restaurants are all open

Re: Politics

Isn't trump kind of like those westboro Baptist people that would protest at funerals with the "god hates **** signs", what they did was actually bring people together and were a huge factor in universal acceptence of gay marriage/homosexuality. I'm not sure but I don't think Fred Phelps actually wa...

Little Piggy KC

Little Piggy might have finally figured things out after all these years, there has been a revival of sorts over there and business has been picking up. It looks like they are adding a new truck (African Themed) called Chobu's Foods Food Truck courts and food trucks could have a huge year this year ...

If they want to be close to their studios it would make sense to move to California.

Re: COVID & Carryout

It's just a little cafe/deli on a side street in nkc called the Little Store Cafe. It's more of a breakfast/lunch place. I think it's been around awhile. They don't show the entire menu on the website.

Re: COVID & Carryout

Tried the little store in North KC today. What a great little diner/deli. I love that it's on a side street basically in the middle of neighborhood. I wish KC/Midtown had something like this; low priced, home style type food.

BKS is absolutely killing it lately with their New England IPA releases- I'd put them up against any brewery in the country that specializes in the style
I agree. BKS and Alma Mader are probably my 2 favorite breweries in the city right now.

Speaking of selling out. Every Thursday BKS releases new beers, they start selling online at 7pm and are sold out by 7:04pm

Re: COVID-19 Casualties

I went brewery emperial this past weekend and they were letting people drink and eat outside. We were kind of surprised they allowed people to drink outside. I think places with lots of outdoor seating will have a big advantage for a year or 2
