I can't imagine any family walking the current infrastructure between US and Pennway Point. I walk this area every morning and it's pretty hostile. I can see good things about either closure, but I think the project needs to include significant improvements and traffic calming to all of the streets around it so it feels safe and easy for pedestrians to walk there and not feel surrounded by speeding cars. Those are some great pictures. I drive by this project every day and it has been great to see the progress they are making. Really hoping all of the ground floor retail spaces fill up quickly. It would be a easy way to demonstrate their contribution to the neighborhood.

Thanks for the info everyone. The unprotected bike lane is scary at best on Cleaver right now. It would be nice to have the ability to bike in a protected lane right into the plaza and to the new streetcar stop at 47th and Main.
