Mayor Q even said something about this last year, that now it's KC's turn to finally get state funding like StL got for theirs ...

No shot they get their second round (after 2006) of state funding package for a stadium whilst KC can't even get it's first one still.

I've started thinking this as well. I think it'll help. Nobody will want to lose the Royals out of KC if they're actually good. And people know that losing a second vote means the team will move.

To me it sounds like the real issue is just the county. I think if they work with city only, and do a real campaign, this will pass.
