I just looked up attendance out of curiosity. Cardinals rank 6th in MLB with average of 37k. KC has double the number of dispensaries per capita as Los Angeles, where weed has been fully legal since 2016. Cost per oz of weed still higher than the avg among the top 20. Ranked the #9th best weed city in America.

Attendance in the MLB is almost always based on the previous season's performance. Obviously, I want the stadium downtown but if the Royals are contending and making the playoffs 2-3 years in a row fans will show up regardless of stadium location.
