Me too Fang…

But with the Greenline and the Royals stadium, hopefully there’s some interest in that area

Re: KCMO Downtown Streetcar

Cool shot, but people in KC will never admit that the city probably has the least amount of traffic (on surface streets) and pedestrians of any mid-large city in the country. That's just from my experience. Downtown KC is a VERY quiet place. It just is. I know it has its busy times when venues are ...

The 23 Best Places to Go in the U.S. in 2023 Kansas City has long been a major hub of the Midwest, but coastal dwellers should really start taking note. While the city is already garnering the attention of sports fans around the world—it’s hosting the NFL Draft in April 2023, and was chosen as one ...

Re: GO CHIEFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No current active plans for expansion/renovation. It's not really needed right now, but I think in a few years it will be. Will they consider a new stadium in the city? I think a portion of the ownership wants to be Downtown, but if KS has a big pot of money from sports betting just waiting to be u...

Imagine this photo with 4L, 5L, Strata (or Cordish office tower), mid rise project on Calvery lot and the cap. I can imagine it with 4 Light and Strata. The mid-rise on the Calverts parcel will likely be blocked by 3 Light, but the one across the street will definitely show up. The cap will barely ...

Big sad.

Based on his comments about 31st and Main, he probably won't want to do anything with this parcel too until the streetcar starts running in 2025. Just going to "see how it's going to be"

Shoutout to Collison for reposting this article today. I was just wondering the status of these. Feel like they need to be a must now that saving the old bridge is dead. I also wonder if there is opportunity here to tie into the Greenline initiative? https://cityscenekc.com/regional-skate-park-artwo...

Don't think a private group can operate a commercial facility at a park
KC Parks needs to be open to changing this. Could both activate some dead parks + provide an additional revenue stream for an underfunded agency

Completely disagree. This is a cool activation of an area in an awkward spot. Helps make it a better experience to walk to Boulevard from Union Station and that last streetcar stop. As for the view, do you mean looking out west? During the day you’ll likely get a view of the Kansas River that few ge...

They had to know this was going to get a negative reaction at first which is likely the reason they did it. Issue press release, collect all the feedback and prepare for your campaign to sell it to the public. If there's one word I would use to describe Sherman, it is methodical. The approach they ...
