Re: GO CHIEFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Those weren't semis lol those kids wer firing fully auto assault rifles. It's a terrible tragedy on a day of celebration but a tragedy we all have experienced growing up in the city. Smh that we had this happen under the national spotlight but ig that means it has become to blatant to ignore.

Re: Streetcar to the riverfront
DTKC is much busier at nite but pre pandemic at lunch was always really busy too. I think 20th and Main and most of the River Market are busy everything I visit. However I'm always disappointed by the lack of ped traffic on Broadway in Quality Hill.

Re: $200M E Side Mixed-Use Project - 63rd/Prospect
So is the east elevation fronting Prospect? Walk up style units would be amazing, tho could be a concern for some being in a higher crime neighborhood of the city. More eyes on the streets will be very welcome. All in all it's amazing that this is happening and hopefully all phases get completed, th...

Re: Downtown Baseball Stadium
If they can build the stadium and keep the buildings on Grand Blvd I 100 percent think East Crossroads is the cities best option. It's reasonably close to 18th, the streetcar, Troost MAX, highway, and my own personal goal of creating a higher density along Truman and giving it a makeover with LRT or...

Re: KU/KCK <-----> TSC East/West Transit
KU/KCK <-----> TSC East/West Transit is a loser. It would be the worst thing that can possibly happen right now. No one in KCK wants to go to Van Brunt. Nobody on the east side of KCMO wants to go to KCK. Do you people that are for this even live here? There are no amenities or attractions on this ...

Re: Sporting Kansas City
STL's team is badass. The rivalry could flourish and become historic one day, who knows. As far as the little localized bickering, both cities have people who talk down on their respective sister city and is personally not very tasteful imo. KC is Missouri's premier city rn and is pretty hot atm, wh...

Digital IMAX is not true IMAX it's about 14,000 pixels away from 70mm IMAX which will have an 18K resolution.

Re: Downtown Baseball Stadium
It might not be iconic due to its lack of history but architecturally speaking it is one of the most beautiful. If KC was a world class mega city the scoreboards backside and the fountains would make it closer to truly being iconic. I think the true factor that keeps it from being a iconic baseball ...

Re: Three Light
KCBJ reported 20% prelease but the website is showing more optimistic numbers. Regardless the rents in Three Light our rather comparable to the recently opened Beaudry tower in downtown Los Angeles, which is entirely luxury. The fact that DTKC is demanding rents as high as DTLA is insanely positive...

Re: Renovations of apartment buildings along Armour Blvd.
39th and Broadway has to be the number one candidate for an all 4-corner redevelopment. The SW corner of 39th and Main would be my personal choice, something modern and bold like the Godfrey in Hollywood would starkly contrast the old streetcar era buildings.

Re: OFFICIAL - The Continental Apartments (former Mark Twain Tower)
Website shows 95 units of 222 available (58% leased). Living here, I can definitely say it's quiet. Choosing to live here was a last minute choice, but I have no regrets so far. Plenty of room in my unit, plenty of natural light, and I love being able to walk to things I do often (River Market, Ber...
