Does anybody know if any of the restaurants at CPKC Stadium will be open outside of game days?

If Union Station was willing to give up the parking fronting the building, they could extend Washington Park further West.

Google Earth has an Erectile Dysfunction Doctor listed at 1388 Main St.

Wouldn't it be more advantageous, to expand Bartle Hall over the Barney Ellis Plaza? They plan to put a huge park over the freeway just a short walk away. They could call that park Barney Ellis Park and then KC could attract larger conventions too.

Storefronts on Main have been empty for years now. If I was from out of town, and saw that, my first thought would be that Kansas City isn't' doing well economically.

The Kansas City skyline is looking like something out of Minecraft, zero character, and they look like they are putting up a big solid wall on one side of downtown.

I feel the downtown area expects a higher quality food experience. If you can afford to live downtown, stay in the hotels downtown, or even come out for an overpriced concert, then you probably want something different. Soon the streetcar will be able to take us farther south to all the midtown fast...

If you can find an available scooter, that's the fastest way to Union Station.

I've made multiple requests to rent 3-4,000 sq ft. of retail space for a family friendly store. Cordish just blew us off. I can only guess it's because we aren't a national chain.

How do the businesses inside Union Station feel about having to be closed during the event?

I don't know where that plan to eliminate parking came from, but the River Market may as well be just another suburb then. No business in Kansas City will operate where the only parking is strictly for people who live there.

It doesn't help that they have one leasing agent, for all their properties, and who is based in Maryland.

I hope it turns out like The Island in Pigeon Forge, TN.

Apparently if you're not a high end retailer they aren't interested in renting to you. I'm finding that they would just as soon keep those retail spaces vacant and have KC pay their debts.
