Have they actually started the foundations or are they off the job? I wouldn't think so because the project hasn't been approved. AFAIK they're only approved for demolition. An ordinance has been filed by Councilman Bunch to transfer the west parking lot of City Market from KCMO to PortKC. Word on the street is a development is being proposed by Flaherty + Collins (who developed Union on the riverfront and The Yards in West Bottoms). It is on the upcoming NPD committee...
