$400k for 5800 sq ft is a steal, especially for a home with a famous name involved

That home finished should be $750k or higher
I suppose you're right, I didn't even look at the sq footage

Back on the market as of today.

Hopefully this home gets picked up by a serious buyer in this red hot market right now.

Re: Real Estate Listings of Interest (Metrowide)

It looks like the Louis Curtiss house is back on the market. Sad to see the previous buyer hasn't done too much except gutting. $400k seems a lot for just a shell.

Re: Bannister Mall/Cerner

A larger issue is a majority of Cerner's employee's (especially the ones at this campus) are young professionals or new grads straight out of college. They're young, no families, dealing with student loans, and they sure as hell don't want to buy a house in Raytown. They want apartment living that h...

Re: Fantasy Retrofits: Barney Allis Plaza

I didn't see it, but does anyone know if they are leaving the underground tunnels that connect the Marriott, Muehlbach Tower, and Aladdin Hotel to the Municipal Auditorium and Convention Center alone? I remember talking to clients who stayed in those hotels during conventions and they loved not havi...

Re: Mark Twain Tower going residential?

You beat me to it. I just walked by this building yesterday and had plans to call and ask for a tour! Great photos, as always.

Are there any renderings yet?

Re: Ballpark Village v4.7 (st. louis)

On the topic of tall buildings in STL, I was looking at apartments downtown and came across this rendering below. It's in Soulard and the arch/building placement is all wrong, but are there legitimate talks of office towers this tall? They dwarf One Metropolitan Square. https://i.imgur.com/xnsarHZ.p...

Re: Ballpark Village v4.7 (st. louis)

Does anyone know when the last 10+ story, or even 5+ story built in downtown was? It seems like this is the biggest and the only development in Downtown STL that I can think of.

The building was sold to Copaken Brooks who said they will most likely demolish the building:

Re: AT&T Building Renovation, 8th Street and Locust

All that old telco equipment probably ran pretty hot. Actually, this building more than likely housed nothing but workers. All the teclo equipment would've been down the street in the long lines building https://long-lines.net/places-routes/Kansas_City_MO/1425_Oak_St_KC_MO_Completed_Relay_Tower-A.j...

Re: Cambria Hotel(SW Corner of 9th & Wyandotte)

Was there a streetcar on Wyandotte then? They're redoing the water main lines on that street and you can see old rails that they've dug up. I can only assume it's from the streetcar.

Re: OFFICIAL - Strata (H&R Block's 2nd Tower)

I was downtown exploring today and got the chance to look over the site of where the new tower will be. You can see that H&R Block definitely planned on building a second tower evidenced by the the large amount of concrete footings on the rooftop https://bn1302files.storage.live.com/y4pqGjwrK41bWdX4...

Kansas City Civil Defense Questions

As some of you may know, Kansas City is home to one of the worlds loudest air raid sirens. https://www.kansascity.com/news/local/article195809654.html Kansas City originally had 3 of these sirens. One is located at the old army records building off of Independence, another was located on top of the ...
