Ebenezers Brewery And Wine Bar - 311 Delaware on the liquor license report. Anybody?
There's a big stone between the second and third stories that says Ebenezer.

Bar K hired a COO with major franchising experience for a path to expansion... https://www.bizjournals.com/kansascity/news/2019/09/27/bar-k-nabs-npc-international-exec-as-its-first-coo.html The space is amazing but I think it would be hard for that kind of build out in a lot of urban cities, u woul...

Google shows they have an office at 1200 Main as well. Is that listed as Google or their parent Alphabet? Replica is a people moving mapping tool from Alphabet's Sidewalk Labs (smart city division) that is based out of KC. Replica was spun off as its own company just last week, still based in KC. E...

Re: Uptown Theatre district improvements

Krokstrom was on Triple D this week, might help them boost sales. That really seems like a restaurant that doesn't fit the Triple D mold, it's not really a diner, drive in or dive and it's quite expensive and portions are small, this might actually backfire with people that watch and eat at DDD res...

The Wichita Eagle (also owned by McClatchy) is moving to digital-only on Saturdays. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.kansas.com/news/business/article233959167.html That's not a huge change, but not good for the future of a physical paper. They have already been printing Saturday and Sunday together ...

Fresh hot Pickleman’s shot. This does not look like a restaurant near opening.

EDIT: I don't know why my image is so small. I tried to make it larger but it just became pixelated.

Re: KC metro growth and migration stats

Wichita city proper probably only has growth because they are annexing a lot of areas. If u Google wichita and see there city limits there is an island that is like 30 miles SW of Wichita by Viola KS. That can't be part of the city can it? Looks like it's a police-related facility owned by the city...

If they would have moved downtown then, they'd still be looking to move with how much they've shrunk?

Seems to be these guys? Menu looks fine. Website says they have a location in Santa Monica and another at Pitt State in Pittsburg, KS. That seems... odd.
Nothing comes up on Google Maps by that name in Pittsburg, which is even stranger.

I was going to suggest across the creek from Nelson Atkins, then realized that was the MRI Global property haha.

Don't think we have to worry about William Jewell becoming a big player, their accreditation is currently on probation.

The KC Star is effectively the Wichita Eagle too now. Pretty sure they share all the sports stories, even seem some of the in-depth reporting cross posted between sites even if the issue was obviously focused on one area or the other.
