OFFICIAL: Wallstreet Tower ( was:US Bank Tower going condo)

It looks like work has started on the Wallstreet Tower. The sidewalk is closed off, the bus shelter is gone and they are cleaning up and repairing the outside of the building.

VICTORY for KC! (Now let's boycott Enterprise)

Congratulations KC! I took a roll of the dice when I decided to move out here and found nothing but positive things about this city. Not to mention the fact that things are definitely going in KC's direction now. From the bond votes in April ( I moved here in March) to last nights vote on the arena....

it wasnt a debate. Fox 4 news is crap. Their 10 pm news hour wasn't all that great as well. I'm so tired of poor reporting from many so called reporters that we have nowadays. I wrote Fox 4 the following email: To whom it may concern: You have aired a terrible news segment on the KC arena debate be...

Impact of Downtown Revival on the Loop

I'm sure all this would cost an incredible amount of money, like at least $1 billion.... Maybe when KC is represented by a U.S. Senator that has been in office for decades they can get the federal funding that is needed to do this i.e. Senator Kennedy and the Boston Big Dig. Going Strong at $14 Bil...

But no, I don't think we need another freeway plowing through midtown, what would that do? I am not sure, but I can only assume that they are thinking about future traffic levels. I walked down there a few times just after the Fourth of July and there were a bunch of signs placed along the path stating what's proposed for a particular area. On the bottom of the signs, though, it stated something to the effect that funding is still needed and gave a # to call if a person wante...

...a free loft would be nice, but with the windows pointing out to the covered parking, I don't think the unit ever gets any sunlight. It is literally "underground." I didn't realize it was below street level. I actually thought that area would have been a common area for storage, a fitne...
