Re: COVID19
My company just announced permanently eliminating working at HQ finding work at home more efficient and cost effective. This will eliminate thousands of sq. ft. of commercial real estate in multiple cities and have an impact on many surrounding businesses. They hope in return it will stimulate neigh...

Dr. Hendrik Streeck of the Bonn University Institute of Virology is claiming the virus is spread by long term contact, not casual, which explains nursing homes.

Re: COVID19
I didn't mean for low-risk jobs to be interpreted so narrowly -- I was referring more to a risk:reward analysis of the industry as a whole. EG, nightclubs would be the very last thing to reopen, even if the employees themselves were just as protected as a typical store worker. No criticism, I just ...

Re: COVID19
Incidentally, what I've read is that unspecified people in the White House have been drafting plans for gradually easing restrictions in some sort of common-sense way by starting with low-risk jobs and then progressing from there as long as the situation remains stable. However, the Cheeto rejects ...

Land is being cleared at 108th and Eastern Ave. also. Can someone find the sight plan? Although most of this traffic will probably use 435.
Tree clearing east of Eastern Ave. south of 108th too. Lots of new houses going up north of mo152.

Re: KCMO Downtown Streetcar
Perhaps KC is too Midwest polite for public transportation. Observing today it appears they are waiting for all the passengers to be seated before moving. In most cities it is survival of the fittest and a time limit is applied before the doors automatically close. Also, some of the loading areas ar...

B&B is building in front of the Liberty HS. Red bought the old K-Mart shopping center but I have'nt heard any details. The old center was invisible and used the land poorly.

The developers of Mission Gateway in Mission said a Sprouts is scheduled to open there and sources said other area stores are in the works including one in Liberty. Sprouts was founded in 2002 in Chandler, Ariz. There are now 170 stores. Read more here: http://www.kansascity.com/2014/01/07/4734865/k...

I'm calling Bull Sh** on this topic. After driving the new flyover at least 2x a day, sometimes 4x, at 6:30, 7:00, 7:30 and 8:00 AM, and various afternoon times also, NOT ONCE was there a traffic problem, definitely not a problem that would keep one from entering Liberty Drive.

1) Liberty Drive is what used to be called an "Alternative Hi way" it has always been busy and used to be my main route to downtown before S Withers was extended. 2) The Flyover has been dreamed, written and talked about in the schools and businesses for over a decade. Common knowledge pos...

Possible Trader Joe's? Good access I-435 to the west and I-35 to the east. Would they go into new construction with high rent? you must not drive 152. The access to I-35 is a joke. the E-W corridor of the northland is long overdue for transit. it's bike unfriendly still, there's no bus, no train an...
