Re: OFFICIAL: Port Authority Riverfront Project
not to be a size queen but would have been cool to have a high end apartment/condo towering above all this even say 20 stories. Love it how it is though too.

Re: Downtown Baseball Stadium
$500m 15 years ago and it’s fairly bare bones on the interior compared to a MLB or NFL stadium. I’d rather the Royals go more traditional and tie into the older brick and mortar feel than try and go artsy. The minority of this metro’s population would appreciate the artsy vibe while the majority wo...

Re: Downtown Baseball Stadium
If they had a 50-100% higher budget I’m certain they’d love to The bottom one cost around $500m and that is for a bigger football stadium. Others are similar. It doesn’t cost that much more to make something visually appealing, it just takes some care to make something that will last instead of jus...

I generally take a hands off approach to any moderation as I feel people can be adults but I'm about to go HAM on the delete button on these posts. Just stop. Everybody. It's driving people away that contribute what this site is focused on. Want to know if I'm talking about your posts? If you say &q...

Re: OFFICIAL - New KCI Terminal
Makes total sense to not have an A1 and B1 when the concourses are in one building. I've already ran into enough people looking at their Southwest boarding number and standing at that gate instead, having a duplicate gate number despite the A / B would for sure confuse people

Re: OFFICIAL - Loews Convention Hotel (formerly Hyatt)
Will the volleyball tournaments ever end? It's nice to see people traversing through the crossroads on foot. A nice departure from the general ghost town vibes Im normally experiencing. It does seem we have become somewhat of a youth/college sports tournament destination, wouldn't be my first pick,...

"it should all be townhomes" to...whatever. The consistent message is that the neighborhood is always in the wrong somehow. Always. I think the townhome thing is a lot of people on here see the demand and lack of any new supply coming on and CP is just another area that they would seem to...

What I posted came from either the city or someone on the suit I will see if I can find the records. The depressing part is how long we have been having the same conversations. 26 years! It's baffling. I did not copy and paste the whole thing, only parts. Making progress Columbus Park on the reboun...

There are two elementary school campuses in the downtown loop (crossroads academy) and more in real downtown. I think that site is cool but seeing a lot of people saying it's not very accurate. I haven't messed with it to know for sure.

Re: OFFICIAL - Main Street Streetcar Extension
Starting to see the amount of space they are leaving for streetside parking along the route, I don't see how cars are going to fit in those spaces and not impede the train....and I'm all for it. Sly way to cut the parking without saying you're going to cut the parking? and they had to be aware of t...
