Re: OFFICIAL: Power & Light District

"took the risk" ohh come on. They didn't take any risk. The city is subsidizing the whole fucking thing. Why can't you just admit it is for what it is? These arguments go much easier when you admit basis truths. Cordish has spent and continues to spend their own and their investor's money in KC, ye...

Re: OFFICIAL: Power & Light District

Cordish completely failed at retail. They mostly failed at any national big draw names. They've been surviving off of kc this entire time. But that's okay! It's what we paid them to do! Even when they take credit for sports they forget they spent years being racist. It took outside groups taking tha...

Re: Bird Scooters Have Landed

These scooters were a bitch this weekend. Lots of young kids, almost always riding them on the sidewalk, dumping them there too.

I don't spend much time in the rest of the urban areas, but downtown there is zero enforcement and it feels like they dumped a shit load of these in the past week or so.

Re: Streetcar to the riverfront

I’m a bit confused on the funding. What’s the source of the local match and will the new properties contribute to the tdd? Will port kc issue the bonds? New vehicles? Re: Power and Light District Official Tenant List

Wtf do these banks do? I can't remember the last time I got cash out of an atm let alone go inside one, but every single new tenant downtown is a bank. In my experience, the downtown ones seemed to be geared towards working with small businesses in the area and to serve as advertisements for their ...

Re: Capping the Loop

I hate the idea of a cordish only area and won't support it. I could get behind cordish offering it for free to their residents and the city charging a fee to everyone else. I know it's semantics, but I think it's important. What's the issue? For me, it's just the principle of it. I don't think the...

They're not offering any move in incentives and their rooms are interesting. I think they're all studio or one bedroom.

They're really nice, but I don't know. Their biggest draw is open to the public.

Can the important people say hey American we'll help you with that private club if you come back with an Atlantic route?

I don't know how blatant this stuff gets.
