I lived in Denver for a summer and found Washington Park to be a great destination for outdoor R&R.  There are a bunch of great restaurants and shops within walking distance... Hemingway's was a favorite.

The score should really consider the speed limit on streets that you must travel to reach all these destinations.  Walking 0.5 miles down a 45mph street is not very pedestrian-friendly.
