Well the anticipation better be worth it! "skyline changing"
I may be wrong, but I believe the 'skyline changing' wording has been changed to something a little less impressive.

Wonder what the illegal activities were https://www.change.org/p/mayor-s-office-kansas-city-missouri-shut-down-rockstar-burgers I stopped skimming after I saw the word "bestiality". Re: Hard rock

I'm not a huge Hard Rock fan, but seems to me it's a wasted opportunity to not build this on the Hollywood property or (even better) as part of an Isle of Capri reboot. At one point Hollywood was paying an annual fee to the State of Kansas for not having a hotel/conference center on site - is that s...

Are they seriously building a hard rock by the legends. That’s like the most boring place on earth
Not as boring as the place they're building it - south of 435.
You meant south of I-70, correct?
Yes - sorry!

Arnold, the group doing the green development down the street proposed something larger - 212 apartments (40% affordable), 75K office space and 612 parking spaces with 90+ available for the public during the day. Seems like a much better, green option with more unit, more parking, more office - wou...

I looked through the feed of the Nextdoor app this morning and a Hyde Park resident is riling up the neighborhood about the development proposed for the four corners of Troost and Armour. Apparently there is a meeting tonight at Central Presbyterian Church at 7pm where MAC be doing a presentation on...

Cityscene is good, but at $6 they would need to add a ton more content for me to be interested.
Yeah, 4-5 articles a week isn't much, especially when they don't appear to do any spelling or grammar checks.

^absolutely worth reading the article just for the rendering of the now-defunct restaurant. Or to learn that the Dallas location earned the reviewer's first and only zero-star review due to (among other things) watery drinks and terrible food. The article mentions that 89% of the location's revenue...

For that much money I would want a bathroom connected to the bedroom, not down the hall. And the walk-in closet of the 2BR doesn't even open into the bedroom or bath? Hope they do well!

I realize the map in the Cityscene article may not be 100% accurate, but isn't the streetcar extension supposed to go further east than it shows? The map has it going only as far as the Northpoint apartment complex announced recently - I thought it was going to end closer to I-29/35?

For a long time there was a height restriction stating that no building could be taller than the arch - is that still in place?
