Re: Pursuing FREE City-Wide Bus

I think directing people on where to go and how to get there would make a huge difference for people not use to traveling by bus. Especially if it ended on the plaza. If it had the words on the front streetcar extension I’m sure more people would be willing to try it. I think with a lot of people fr...

Re: Do we need to stop building with concrete?

What about building denser developments without parking garages. That should decrease the concrete use and the issue of co2 dispersion from driving. Would it be possible to use less concrete due to lessening the weight requirements

Re: Would you like to see the Royals move to a downtown stadium?

What about the bit of downtown directly east of downtown, I believe it’s called paseo west. I always imagined that neighborhood could really blossom if it had just a bit of a fresh start. It’s got a great grid some beautiful old buildings and a great area

Would they build something smaller without incentives, or will it just revert back to an empty lot. How does everyone feel about this project incentives wise. Im not aware of if it is reasonable or not

Tiny Homes in KC

Does any one know if there is a size requirement that needs to be met in order to be considered a house. What kind of red tape legal hurdles would need to be addressed in order to build one. Is there any place online The public can access that has a list of building ordinances

Looks like things are picking up on both sides of the twelfth street bridge. Are there plans to replace and add in sidewalks in the west bottoms?

The streetcar works and in my opinion should act as ether backbone of the free bus network. Defunding it would probably just make people distrust public transit even more

The problem is the last ten years has seen development on the east side specifically because the rest of the city is getting more desirable. It’s also growing jobs giving more people access in the east side. If you focus exclusively on the east side Like we have done repeatedly. I don’t see to many ...

I don’t think we really need to have that high of density to have a square work. Squares exist everywhere and I think would help spurn development. My biggest worry would be shutting down broadway. Slow it down take out a few lanes, but I would eventually like to see main shut down which would neces...

Does it have a vibe at all, anything that might bring people in. Or will they be relying on the hotel crowd. I think craft beer bars are great, but a nice space is super important
