A 9 unit building is being proposed for 3933 Kenwood. It would replace two single family homes. This is just down the street from the 3 new duplexes (not sure if it is the same developer). Honestly, if the other new buildings followed a similar design style to the corner of the Weld Wheel replacement, I’d be a bit happier. It has more brickwork to it than the elevations made it seem. The cream color is also a nice choice. Contrasts nicely with the red brick of the neighborhood.

Regarding the silence from all but one city council member about the Jackson County vote and the downtown stadium, I think a majority of City Council would vote to approve it. Unless that vacate the building at 9th and Locust (eliminating their usage of the garage at 10th and Cherry) and they hire more security guards for the Bolling Federal Building, then the stadium is a non-starter.
