Re: JaCo Translational Medicine Sales Tax
Does anyone have any solid information on this? It's a lot of money to just throw around and say it's for research. Is this just to pad all the salaries of the board members that govern it? What does economic development mean anymore? I get to get drunk and watch lady gaga / sports somewhere new wit...

GRID: Thanks for the info. I think it was $18 when I looked for a private ticket and the times where not going to work since I wanted to leave at kick off. I think it's crap. Probably the work of lobbyists. So are they going to ban buses from taking us to work at private businesses? Didn't the gover...

Wouldn't a sea of Chevy Tahoe's outside a stucco'd strip mall Coldstone Creamery be better visual representation of Overland Park? Seriously? A Horse and a Red Barn?

Re: buying a bank-owned home via "short sale"
and make sure you ask if the short sale has already been approved by the bank when you stumble into one. Alot of the times they aren't which makes the whole process take longer. I also knew someone who closed in 2 months. Mine took almost 4 months and I had to pay to re-winterize the house after I ...

Re: buying a bank-owned home via "short sale"
I studied short sales alot before I bought my house last December. You can find bargains but the major problem is the bank will work on it's own pace and on it's own terms. You need to make sure your are pre-approved (not pre-qualified) for them to consider your offer. Short sales can often take ove...

So it's just General Admission? Besides the $125 box seats. I'm really kinda over fighting my way to the front and the sound system sucks in the backlawn. I hate sandstone but I've always wanted to see them...this is going to be a tough decision. I'm not giving $125 a pop to that craphole to make su...

Re: Selling a vehicle in Missouri - I hate MO car ownership
So you sold a CAR without even considering a bill of sale or taking down the buyers info? This is amazing to me. My wife just signed the title (we weren't married yet), I thought we should take the guys info, so I did. I remember going through a bunch of clutter one day and thinking I probably did...

Knob Creek... I was a beer only drinker until someone introduced me to this. I never liked hard liquor, but this introduced me to bourbons. Very smooth. The only 80 proof or higher drink that didn't make be dry heave the first time I tried it.

This is an interesting bit... if you are planning to begin a family, your bar scene will become nonexistent Yes, the bar scene will stop during the pregnancy. The child does not even have to be born yet. After the child is born, moving to Raytown, MO will tempt you. Then you will find yourself vent...

I don't know if she did. I will find out if she got something like this. (we just married early this year)
For my stuff, I just check the Jackson county website every once and a while and pay if it says something is due. I don't know if I have ever seen one of these forms for myself...
Thanks.

Selling a vehicle in Missouri - I hate MO car ownership
I was just wondering if anyone has sold a car in Missouri and didn't know to report it via Notice of Sale or Bill of Sale? My wife sold an old car back in the summer of 08. We are having problems regarding property tax because we just bought a new car and they are saying we owe property tax for 2009...
