Has this project stalled out? Haven’t seen progress since they tore out the sidewalk on Linwood a few weeks ago.

Regrettably, the chunky old brick apartment building at 33rd and Paseo partially collapsed and then was demolished a couple months ago. Irish Ale on tap has been hard to find this year. 3 of the 4 places I've been to that have it on tap were out. Shoutout to Whitehorse Pub on North Oak.

Why just a street? I propose renaming Overland Park, KS to honor Rev. King. That would make a statement.

This may be the last time I kick this thread. Someone else could take the torch and keep this timeless verse from sinking into obscurity, or just let it sink into the waves, consigned to the depths of the ceaseless tides of the internet.

Cyclists' "last block" problem is analogous to drivers' "free parking in front" problem. If you can't walk the last block, maybe you should call an Uber.

Why trees and shrubs? They require a lot of water and maintenance. On the other hand, native grasses and flowers can provide an effective screen, better condition the soil to absorb runoff, and require minimal maintenance once established.
