Is this restriction associated with the Lowe's agreement ( no subsidies for 500 rooms for 10 years, I think) or a different restriction on the Port Authority?

Dave, if you know that, then maybe you have insight into why the owner wants to keep it that way. It's inconceivable to me. If I were the owner, I'd be happy that I could make such a great contribution to the Crossroads and the city by developing or selling for development.

Does anyone know who designed Barney Allis? Or Ilus Davis? Or the small plaza to the south of the Federal Building? I'm asking because of the similarities in design. I feel like all three were designed to make sense to people 20 stories up and not to be pleasant to people on the ground.
