Immersive historic streetscape app

This app allows/will allow you to walk a street in New York and see buildings from past streetscapes on your phone as you point toward the location where the building stood. Would be fun to have the same for the north loop and River Market. https://untappedcities.com/2020/07/28/new-augmented-reality...

Re: Operation Legend

When the ship sinks, everybody leans. ok, i just had to say that. But it's true, isn't it? And like I said, I hope I've embarrassed the hell out of myself here. I really do. I want to turn out to be just as wild-eyed as the Pizzagate folks. The difference in the situations is that Trump has made it ...

Re: Operation Legend

I'm afraid, Mean. I expect election day, voting place provocations to violence by forces put in place by Trump. I will not be surprised if he places a call to paramilitaries to police voting places. Call me crazy.

Re: Operation Legend

It puts federal agents in place ready to show up at the polls in Dem heavy cities, armed and demanding to see ID, whether or not state law requires it to vote. I so hope that on November 4 I feel like a complete fool for having written this.

Re: OFFICIAL: Port Authority Riverfront Project

Regarding the state of the Missouri millenia ago, when the prairie grasses were in place and the Mo was a meandering (hence, longer) shallower, braided river (see the Platte in NE), it wouldn't have carried the load it does today. Less tllled ground equals less erosion and slower speed (due to meand...

Wouldn't the state legislature have to be involved in renaming a county? I can't imagine MoLeg would be in favor.

Re: Status and future of the River Market area??

Regarding past RFPs that haven't been acted on: is the council toothless (no laws to allow them to act), deferential to developers in this circumstance (they're sure not deferential when a developer wants three more stories on a building than the neighbors want), or indifferent. I - and obviously a ...

Was Dan not saying an RFP is a bad idea? Who wants a process that brings out developers who will do nothing with the property?

Sorry to hear about Luyben's. I'm sure you're right about online shopping contributing to their demise, but it was great to be in there and know that everyone else there was a music lover and making music. Can't get that shopping online.
