Re: New Riverfront Women's Soccer Stadium

Sporting was 10-11k per game before stadium. Current is 7500 avg. this year. The same stadium induced growth would result in a 12-14k seat average. So current may be under sizing

Re: BBQ WARS!

So no one went at American Royal? Did all the local joints have any set up there. You'd think they would have an advantage in the competition. AB hooked me on white bread with their great sandwiches. Tried Gates and others but nothing was as smoky as AB. 2019 was my last year attending. Lots of cor...

What is the purpose of Live at P&L? Generic drinking and gathering place. Can't see any historical anything happening there. And how many residence have the 2 light buildings brought downtown? No improvement in street activity. Do they just hang out in their apartments playing video games and n...

For one, it's not daily nonstop, it's 4x. I buy the $3 million government number. I'd want to see the jobs Ohio information. The jobs Ohio info is in the document in that tweet. And I’m sure it won’t be full amount. It will be prorated based on the percent of daily they fly. Also important to remem...

Re: KCI Flight Schedule Adjustments

SWA is happy with the new terminal but it does seem wise to hold back on any new terminal-specific additions for a few months.

I echo my earlier comments that their major stations at STL, DEN, and BNA will make it hard for KC to become a major SWA focus city.

Re: Three Light

?????? Was office population higher in the 1980’s? I could see that being possible. Downtown KC was pretty busy during the weekday in the late 80's and early 90's. It had a ton more office space and just people working there. Think about how many office buildings that were converted to residential....

Re: Downtown office vacancy

Omaha and Cleveland both getting 600-700’ corporate HQ towers. It’s time for a KC employer to do the same. I don’t think we’ll get any spec built but the FSL model (anchor tenant with additional space for lease) will work. Both of those towers are planned for 3,500/4,000 employees. Not a lot of emp...

Taking dozens of gates at surrounding airports is a long term infrastructure commitment. I believe SWA will add some in KC but nothing like they are at the airports surrounding us.

Massive expansions by SWA at Denver and BNA. More moderate growth at STL that seems to have slowed.

KC moved too slowly and Southwest moved on

Re: Sporting Kansas City

STL City’s stadium is just about complete. For the most part, does not look as nice as CMH but will need to go to games. Their location is downtown though so there is a lot more to do around the stadium and you can take the light rail.
