Instead of just flying through town like he did last week - just for a fund raiser.
I would think that he would come to dedicate the memorial at least. IT is the ONLY WWI Memorial on it's scale in the USA, and that is why it is getting the National name.
I bet he will dedicate it.

Re: Clay Chastain coming back with light rail
KC can easily afford Light Rail, as long as it is done Rright and goes to the right places. We need it to serve the core of the city and the attractions. I think that a new light rail line must first serve the key attractions for tourists and residents alike, then it can expand into becoming a vit...

Union Station (split from Sprint Center topic)
Crying about Union station losing money is a joke. Name me one museum that actually makes money off of admitions; that is, is not publicly or privately funded. The real joke is that the whole thing isn't free to the public. BINGO! To charge admission is rediculous. And the whole idea that a public...

Also, the Ritz is not in their CBD, it's in Clayton (feels more like overland park)...and their new Renaissance hotel (very nice) is doing so badly there is talk about converting it to condos Did a little r...

Re: Clay Chastain coming back with light rail
Sad and true Grid
Even if KC votes YES, which I think it won't, I have a feeling that LRT in KC is doomed to date. Federal funding is nill and state funding is almost none.
KC needed to vote YES to LRT in the 90's and early 2000's. I think we missed the boat, I mean train

My wife and I have stayed at the W in NYC several times and we just came back from there last weekend for our Labor Day weekend anniversary. Ahh, NYC! Anyway, in th...
