No way would anybody could answer "could I live here for 30 years?"  I think that's a tough question to ask.

of course it is a hard question! buying something for over $100,000 is a hard question!

that is one of the worst case scenerios that you should ask yourself.  what would you do if you  could not sell your unit?

being nieve and "buying blind" is not smart and it not advisable. there is more to think about when buying a home than what the monthly payment will be.

there is a huge middle ground between "buying blind" and "can you live there for 30 years".  I dare say nobody could answer the question of living somewhere for 30 years when they buy a property.
