i forgot to mention that they simply repainted some of the old traffic lights black (they used to be silver). to the untrained eye (no mast arms, for example), one might assume they were just like the official P+L traffic lights being installed.

Fang, that's likely the vantage point that some of us will have after taking advantage of the establishments in the P & L district.

I drove up the new bridge from 670 westbound tonight....seems very well put together and able to handle lots of arena traffic....very nice layout compared to what was there.  I wonder if they should have done two exit lanes...probably was impossible considering the width of the cavern.

Scores of new trees have been planted between Truman and the freeway canyon.  One will hardly be aware there is a freeway down there until they pass over the viaducts.

I think that the grammarhawk would have a problem with this.  The painter was there when I took this picture but I didn't have the heart to tell him.  I probably should have in retrospect so that this isn't permanent.

I do wish that they put in another entrance onto W 670 from the downtown to replace the ramp that they removed when the Bartle hall Ballroom was installed.

oh, wow.  Yeah.. that's no good.  It's looks like it could be easily fixed though.  The spacing of the letters is all weird as it is.

What's weird about it? Ape aring is pretty much the norm in some cultures. Be a little more sensitive, asshole.

You are only seeing a portion of the piece they are using for that section.

I could be mistaken but I believe the flyer has more letters to come (to the right of what's there now) that will eventually make sense.

it looks like it's supposed to say "Appearing" instead of "Apearing"

But, that's not where the space is located.  It doesn't say, "Ap Earing."  It says, "Ape Airing."

Trying to give the guy the benefit of the doubt here.  Since the first mural was a direct reproduction of a historical piece of sheet music, is it *possible* that this is the same thing - repro-ing a vintage poster that had a typo on it?

Yeah, I know its a reach, but I was feeling charitable this morning.

I'm not a big fan of the murals anyway. I say cover it in white and begin again, this time checking for grammatical errors before copying the design onto the giant wall for all to critique.

Hey, they're already creative, we can't ask them to be grammatically correct too, right?  :D
