The Back Door Bar

I had a nice Sunday evening enjoying their beer bust at The Back Door (next to Opalâ€™s). The bar is very nice, it was my first time. Apparently they have just started opening Saturday. The bar was nice, a lot of space. The crowd was friendly as well as the bartender. It is nice to have an option from the DB Sunday afternoon BB, although I like them both.
It is worth a stop, or drive from the outer fringes of the city.

I nearly went last night. I was at the DB beerbust till 9, then my friends were headed to BB at the Backdoor, since it goes till midnight. But, two beerbusts in one evening is so wrong!! so i walked home and went to bed.

The Back Door is next to the Man Hole and around the corner from the Tool Box. A bit tricky to find because the entrance is in the rear

OK, Ha Ha, sorry for the lame humor, but I'm sure they knew what they were doing when they picked the name. The address is 2111 Washington. Its right behind Opal's chicken on SW BLVD. Looking forward to checking it out soon.

it's just one of those infamous gay bar names...

If somebody can get me open hours, I'll put it in the directory....and if they serve food or not.

A long time ago in Texas there was a lesbian bar that had the name (which is classic) Lickity Split. The neighborhood caused such an uproar over it they changed it to The Beaver Lodge. That one went right over their heads.
Is there really a Manhole in KC???

I am not cure, Tat2KC. I left kind of early, had to go to the airport.
I am 6', Brwn Hair, 195#, Blue eyes. I was wearing an offwhite sweater with grey band on the chest and jeans.
I would look like a guy from Lenexa, actually.
