As for today, now on hour 2 of special actions to "honor" the out going Council people – Loar, Hall, Shields, Fowler, Barnes, McManus... Ellington not present (but Q & others still giving him praise).

CPC had a lot of fun this morning with technical issues at City Hall. They ended up deciding to delay the meeting for an hour (after 30 min of troubleshooting) so people could go to their offices/home and do it all via Zoom vs. hybrid.

First new TIO meeting went very smoothly implementing Year 2 of Mobility Lanes Plan, citywide road diet analysis + transit-exclusive lanes w/ 30 mph speed limit for Streetcar extension. Almost zero pushback on all three, Robinson (vice chair) was asserting herself but mostly positive on across them (O'Neill chair + Bunch, French & Duncan).

They also called for integrating trail and mobility lane (formerly known as bike lane) plans. Which is a good thing!

Finance and MPD meetings also quite smooth yesterday, with some potential thorny items. Get some popcorn for the season premiere (first full Council) this afternoon!
