HTTPS
You may notice the URL has an "https:" in it now, instead of an, "http:" which it had for the first.... 13 years of its existence? After getting the forum migrated to new hosting, I figured it would be smart to get with the times and get this thing encrypted. It's working great for me on mobile and desktop, but if you have any trouble, please let me know.

Re: HTTPS
Kaspersky gave me numerous warning about the insecurity of the site, but I did finally get here.

Re: HTTPS
If you use old bookmark it may show a security warning. Delete old bookmark, go to https://kcrag.com then add bookmark. Hopefully it won't scare others away.

Re: HTTPS
It has come to my attention that there are still some people trying to use forum.kcrag.com, which hasn't been in use other than as a redirect for kcrag.com, for like ten years. Please don't do this. I couldn't believe there were still some.

Re: HTTPS
OK, I've reinstated the redirect. Now if you load http://forum.kcrag.com, it'll just redirect to https://kcrag.com.

Re: HTTPS
I do still receive the security warning from my antivirus (Bitdefender) for https://www.kcrag.com/ -- which my browser likes to autofill if I just type 'kcrag.' https://kcrag.com works fine.

Re: HTTPS
I would highly appreciate a screenshot of the error you are seeing, along with as much information as you're willing to give about how you try to connect. The URL, especially. If you would feel more comfortable sending this information via PM, that would be fine.flyingember wrote: ↑Thu Oct 10, 2019 6:07 pm I have been all week but only at work
Not the end of the world, but it’s still happening.

Re: HTTPS
I figured it out.
You have www.kcrag.com as a valid DNS name for the site but that name isn't an alternate name on the cert itself so it complains about a mismatch.
Switching to just kcrag.com it works fine

Re: HTTPS
There, that's done. Requests to www and forum now just immediately redirect to https://kcrag.com. The DNS update may take a couple hours, but it's done.
