City Hall and Observation Deck
Went to the top of city hall to get some pictures. Gorgeous building, and what an incredible feature! Been meaning to get up there, just never found the time
Something strange protruding out of Oak Tower
Some shots of the lobby
And the exterior

Beautiful pictures. Thank you for venturing forth, taking the pictures, and posting them. What fun to see the city from different perspectives.

That is a great building, especially the interior. But that view is a case in point downtown still has a lot of surface lots to develop.

Just show up during normal business hours and someone will let you up there?

I was directed to the basement, and a guard accompanied me to the top. Closes at 3, at least the day I wentlongviewmo wrote:Just show up during normal business hours and someone will let you up there?

Nice. Oak Tower would look so much better if they took all that shit off the roof, or surrounded it with an Art Deco wall, similar to Municipal Auditorium.

Best case scenario would be getting all the cladding off to show the original gothic detail.KC_JAYHAWK wrote:Nice. Oak Tower would look so much better if they took all that shit off the roof, or surrounded it with an Art Deco wall, similar to Municipal Auditorium.
