Closing 91st and Metcalf this Summer with Brookside location opening up. Their lease is up. Hopefully another grocery store replaces it like Lucky's Market,Albertsons if it buys Sprouts or so on.
Also KC Wine and Sprits replaced Metcalf Discount Liqour.

Disappointing, but that location was always odd - away from major intersections and parking was a pain. I can't believe that with the loss of Hy-Vee and Whole Foods all that will be left in the immediate area is the Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market.

I said the same thing when I discovered it a few weeks ago. It's in the absolute funkiest spot and behind everything.

Also Dollar Tree has Groceries and so does the Gas Station's. Home Depot has some. Sprouts,Hy-Vee,Aldi,Walgreens,CVS are near by.

I think the New Theater keeps that moribund center next door afloat. It's weirdly grafted onto the back...

Also kinda worth noting that Schnucks used to be in that center too.

Also Price Chopper use to be in Nall Hills Shopping Center and United Supermarket Cherokee South.
