if you want half-price sushi, pizza, and appetizers, go to Kona Grill on the plaza. it's fantastic!! also McCormick & Schmick on the plaza (cha-ching!) has ONE DOLLAR burgers during happy hour. mmmmm.

You can add Barley's Brewhaus, McCoy's Public House, O'Dowd's Little Dublin, and Blue Moose Bar & Grill to the list.
The Pendergast Poltergeist Project!

I finally divorced beer and proposed to whiskey, but I occassionally cheat with fine wine.

I do not see the love affair with the blue moose. I always heard there were hotties there....the few times I went guys outnumbered girls 3:1.

Everyplace is a good place for AWBs.

Zonk -- you sure are adamate. Do you work there or something?

It is a cool place, though. It feels classic instead of looking like it is trying to feel classic.

The Newsroom! 10+ beers on tap, ranging in price from PBR to Newcastle. Plus, if anybody goes, I'll make sure to stop there and join them. It's on Broadway, on the 3700 or 3800 block, two or three doors north of Chubby's.

Happy Hour:

--On a dreary day, Lidia's bar area near the roaring fire
--On a nice day, Frondizi's back deck overlooking the Plaza
--On any day, Pierpont's fabulous bar in Union Station
