Weird how much publicity this one got on the twitters

Was out Downtown last night and saw one or two lights on in the building. Curious what initial occupancy rates are....

When I toured on First Friday, they said 15% occupancy but a bunch of move-ins were scheduled.

The last couple of weeks there's been a lot of permits related to combining the retail suites in this building into a single space. Today there is a permit for the installation of a sprinkler system for 'Modern Society'. This appears to be a Springfield, MO based apparel store with another location at Town Center.

This article from Springfield's newspaper from last year mentions that they wanted to open a location between downtown and the Plaza.

Is 'Modern Society' still the presumed entity to occupy the commercial space here?

If website availability is correct, 20 units are available. 106/126 = ~84% inside of a year. Strong performance.

Need to lease another 13-14 units reach full occupancy. 1.5 years is the time developers generally target for lease up to take. It shouldn’t be hard for them to lease another 13 units by June/July 2020.

Anyone have downtown occupancy numbers? I could only find River/Crown/Plaza for last quarter from Cushman and RCP was near 95%. Quite good but not better than metro avg.

Around 94.3% for Metro in May
