With the exception of the two Johnson county cities, the other three, more established cities in Kansas were similar in that they all had from 30-40% of their households making greater than $50,000 a year. Also the more established cities had higher minority population, all three in excess of 25%. The more established cities followed the statistical makeup of the US more accurately than the two Johnson county cities, however the high minority population in Kansas City (greater than 50% of the population) also goes against normal trends for the nation as a whole.
