I hope the overhead lights don't interfere with the trolley power source. Clay will rip them down.

Don't forget, his power source voted by the people was to be buried.
I may be right. I may be wrong. But there is a lot of gray area in-between.

Re: OFFICIAL: Power & Light District
Well if you look at some houses they have feminine looks (paint color, trim, yard ornamentation, flowers and other things saying that the home strongly belongs to a woman more than a man) or Masculine looks (Blue or white paint, little or no fru fru trim, hard ornamentation, and an all grass yard Suggesting that the home belongs to a man more than a woman). This district to me has a lot of feminine features like the elegant street lights, the cuteness of the buildings and the fancy canopy over the live block (kind of like a daughters bedroom).
No trees were destroyed in the sending of this contaminant- free message.

It is for all of the people who think DT is a horrible place to be a night. I use to go DT all the time at night and only had one issue that made me turn around and walk out of my way to get where I needed to. Once the P&L district is open more people will hopefully begin to see DT not to be as threatening.WoodDraw wrote: Lights are for pussies.

If you are talking about the W Hotel, these renderings were done in August of 2006, so no new news on that front.FangKC wrote: Did anyone else notice the anamoly in this rendering?

yeh, the background is whack.
KC Region is all part of the same animal regardless of state and county lines.
Think on the Regional scale.

You haven't heard about the "big move?" Everything south of the Loop is being moved three blocks west to accomodate the P&L. Who knew it was all built as a modular unit? &&&JDluu wrote: Is that Grand lined up with the H&R Block Hdqtrs (which is on Main)?

Re: OFFICIAL: Power & Light District
From this post I was wondering why a car dealership was opening up in the P&L district but found out that Plaza Ford-Ideal was a cleaners. This would be a good tennent along with Constantinos and others to provide the 24 hour experiance to this district.KCDowntown wrote: Six more tenants confirmed:

Re: OFFICIAL: Power & Light District
This was obviously the "for the downtown residents" announcement. I question whether we needed the pull of Cordish to get a nail salon and dry cleaners. Seems those would pop up organically, but what do I know? Still looking forward to the big announcements.
