i saw that Mizzou is ranked 5th in the preseason rankings, Kansas 6th, texas 12th, OK 14th, and OKST 25th. sounds like the big 12 could be pretty strong this year. of course mizzou is also picked to win the big 12 tourney too

Come on, if you are a KU fan, you don't like MU, right??? As a matter of fact, most KU fans I know hate MU worse than I hate KU.

Don't take it personal.

On a grand scale, it is kind of cool to have KU and MU ranked so high (rather than coastal schools) and it just makes the rivalry that much more interesting.

That doesn't mean I will ever pull for KU at least not publically

Yeah, but history speaks volumes and Mizzou's basketball program always seems to find a way to shoot themselves in the foot during T-time.

My predicitions for the Big 12:

-KU will again win the Big12 conference and probably lose in the Big12 Title game to Texas. They will make a 3rd Final Four appearance.

-Mizzou will have some strong games but they will also lose too many games they should have won because Quin is NOT a game-time coach. They will fall in the Sweet 16.

But of course I imagine and would expect Mizzou fans to feel different.

I actually agree with you, Jaysquawk. TexASS and KU will both be better teams than MU by season's end.

I wish the KU-MU thing could be like it used to be, but you're not on the radar any more.
