Thanks for the free tickets KU football player, great view of the track, score, touchdowns, turnovers, crying, and general chaos on the KU sideline.

Even KSU fans were leaving early, we couldn't even stomach that.

One positive for ku:  The track looked good.

This season wouldn't be so disappointing if they were losing like this due to a lack of talent, like they did in the late 90's/early 2000's.  Back then you could excuse big blowouts to K-State because K-State was actually really good and was a top 10 team usually, while KU was working with 2 star recruits.  But now KU actually has some good talent, and to lose like that to a mediocre team doesn't bode well for the rest of the season, and it doesn't reflect well on Turner Gill.  He should have had this team prepared to play, especially after a bye week.  And they weren't.  So that is on him.  Hopefully the team will show signs of progress the rest of the season, so I can have some faith in Gill, but so far it seems like the team has been taking steps backward the past two games.

Lol you said prior to the game how could ksu fans talk smack.....yet you continue to talk backhanded smack in ksu after that massacre. Take some of your own advice.

Oh and if you'd like to watch March madness we will be in espnu tonight. Ouch.

I'm not talking smack.  KSU this year is rather mediocre.  That's been proven thus far.  It's just that mediocre teams are destroying KU because we suck so bad.

Ouch?  Perhaps you've missed who has won 8 out of the last 9 conference titles in basketball.  Enjoy the exposure!

Can someone call Terry Allen?  I'd much rather have that joker on the sidelines than Gill.

5-1 is mediocre?  We got ass pounded by the best team in the Conference.  But, other than that, we've been above average.

We're not the '98 Wildcats, but I'd say we're defiantely a shade above mediocre.  This team may only lose 2-3 more games.  9-3, 8-4???  I'll take that record with this team.

Ksu is definately not exciting but one bad loss to a top 10 team doesn't automatically make you medicore.

Now losing BAD to multiple teams and 1aa team....we know what that says about a team.

As a KU fan, I would take mediocre in a heartbeat.

Not exactly something to get worked up about for KSU, is it? It's not like KU fans were the only ones that would describe KSU in that manner. One vote in one poll and none in the other tells me the entire country had about the same attitude as we did. And, drubbing this particular KU team will probably not go that far in convincing anyone otherwise.

Guess it all depends in your definition. Ksu definately isn't good.....I find it funny metro was just trying to put down his team even more by saying how bad ksu is.....seems like a lot of effort to try and get jabs in on ksu.

You can only take jabs at your own team so long before it becomes depressing. So, we look to our neighbors... and to basketball season.

Yes. We know. For KSU, the sport of college football began in 1991 and there wasn't any college basketball played between 1989 and 2008.

Just a little factoid for us MU fans. No team that has ever started outside of the top 20 in the coaches or Harris poll has aver finished number one in the BCS. There was a great podcast on the BCS and how it works on Stuff You Should Know" at howstuffworks.com http://www.howstuffworks.com/search.php?terms=bcs

Because KSU is so invincible?  The Big 12 is wide open between the three north powers this year, despite what the preseason coaches poll said.  I will be shocked if the top 4 doesn't include MU/KSU/ku and just one south team, in no particular order.
