Surprised - no.  Happy - yes.  As you and your brethern have pointed out ad nauseum - its not like we have a proud tradion of routine sell outs - especially for low level non-cons.  If we could sell out the year, it would be another major milestone.

I believe Keck was a four star as well.  It's too bad, Dave Matter refers to a troubled background but I don't claim to know anything about the personal lives of players.  This will affect depth, but he was listed co-no.2 (whatevert that means) on the depth chart with true freshman Jaquies Smith who the coaches are very high on.
Believe it nor not, I think Keck was the top-ranked highschool player coming out of Missouri two years ago.  4-5 stars.  just further evidence that Rivals star rankings are - for the most part - irrelevant.  Chase Daniel, Todd Reesling, and Ian Cambell are pretty good evidence as well.

Not sure if it's in HD.

I'm not surprised considering what happened last season.  But yeah, before last year I never thought I'd see a sell-out for a game against LA Tech.  I think a lot of fans have come out of the wood work...especially after the O.B. victory.  We've had season tickets the past 6 years and this season was the first time our tix were downgraded due to more big donors coming in and buying up seats.

After 2007, I would think you'd be embarrassed if it wasn't a sellout (especially at those season ticket prices).  The bandwagon state of KS fans have already unscrewed the front powercat license plates.

If winning the conference/division is no big deal, why do you brag about KU basketball's dominance of Big 12 championships?

Well if you can't even win your division, you definitely aren't winning the conference in football...I know it's a lot of new information for you to take in.

It was defnitely nice to have plenty of room to stretch out the legs Saturday in the Fam' Stadium.  :D

alright, now I see where you are coming from.

I agree, division wins aren't the special...but then again, KSU has three of them outright (4 if you include the co-champ one) so they aren't a big deal.

Of course if my team hadn't ever won one, I would think that would be a goal of theirs.

We were near the North Texas fans - apparently they must have returned most and they didn't have any success getting rid of them.  Looked pretty sparse in the upper deck too but I didn't get a look until just after the half so perhaps it was more populated at the get go.

I'm not quite following.  Is that 3 tickets for over $500? If so, who the hell is going to pay that much for 3 tickets???  Correct me if I'm translating those numbers wrong.

I looked at tickets 10 to 20 seats together (and one 2 together) and came up with all of those on one order.

the $3 is the "fees".  that my friend is not a sold out stadium.
