Parking garage at 13th & Grand?

What the hell is going on tonight at the parking garage at 13th and grand? It looked like some emergency construction going on. Part of the front of the garage had fallen and collapsed or something??

I just thought they were doing some modifications, but I did see cherry pickers and concrete saws being used to chop up the east facing parts that hold the sign for the garage.  Strange...

Town Pavillion Garage.

Indeed was strange, they had the whole east entrance blocked off which is not smart on a Saturday night unless it was an emergency and they were working till well past 3am.

Isn't that where Copaken is putting streetfront retail?  Someone posted that they were marketing for a restaurant at that corner (NW) of 13th and Grand.  Seems like the wee hours is the lowest impact time for such modifications.

^^^ I really doubt the reason for the late night construction was to add retail space on the corner, but if by some stroke of luck it was, then kudos to CWB.  It sounds more like a structural issue or something.
