There's nothing better than the feeling of putting the haughty Fuskers and Fusker Fan right back into his place.

YYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!

SUDDENLY, MU is an early frontrunner for Big 8+4 North winner.

I've been waiting for this win since I was 8.

Ummm, you lost to KU. Great win but let's not forget how bad MU can be.

Remember what happened after MU lost to KU in 1997, KC?

they lost to KSU by 30?

You mean a bowl game? Whoopie freaking do...half of the NCAA makes a bowl game now.

Sorry to rain on your parade....I shouldn't do that....great win tonight, very fun game to watch especially after my boys got whipped this afternoon. :puke:

I love it.....I can see your face turning green even as we speak.

1997.....MU loses first conf game to KU as Corby and Co look pedestrian against an inferior KU team.

KU goes on to a magnificent 5-6 season....and is sits at home with the "other half of the NCAA" programs that don't play in a bowl.

MU rebounds and goes 7-4, beating Texas, Colorado at CU and OSU at Stillwater.

Meanwhile...back in the present......it is what, now 34 years and counting for KU losing streak to NU AND KSU looks like SHEITE - yet again.

I LOVE IT. My persistence in being a lifelong MU fan is going to pay off big......I cannot wait.

I've been waiting for this win since I was 8.

pay off big? Holiday bowl is paying off big? I guess that's what your talking about since you won't have a basketball team eligible this year.

Enjoy it...bowl games are fun.....ask some KSU fans we'll teach you how to travel and support your team....give you some pointers.

Yes.......MU will go on to bigger bowls than the Holiday....maybe not this year, but I think it's obvious, major bowls are in MU's future.

MU fans have been enjoying bowl games for several decades going back to at least the 60's.

Bandwagon St, on the other hand, has a "rich" 10 year history of traveling to bowl games......and of playing soft schedules.......and now this year of getting put back into their place in the conference - in the cellar.

I've been waiting for this win since I was 8.

Dan....you have yet to beat us in our soft 10 years.....didn't we keep you out of a bowl last year with an ass kicking??? Thought so.

You beat an overranked NU team....it was a great one game...nothing more than that.

Soft schedule? Have you looked at your schedule?

Yes....I have....it's a pretty soft schedule THIS year. Fortunately, MU doesn't have a reputation for stringing together a decade's worth of softies like Bandwagon St.

I'll take a win over a Top 10 ten team any day. It's better than losing at home to Marshall.

I've been waiting for this win since I was 8.

If I'm not mistaken this was MU's first win ever over a top 10 ranked team. MU played great yesterday as did KU. Here are my predictions for the 3 local big 12 teams this year. K-State, 9-4. Missouri, 7-5. Kansas 7-5.

I've been waiting for this win since I was 8.

Your right- MU has the reputation of being a softie for the decade. The difference between 4-3 and 7-0 is an injury to the QBs hand. If Ell hadn't been hurt, we beat Marshal, we beat UT and he doesn't throw three interceptions against OSU. After losing to OSU, we did need some help to win the north. Thanks for putting us back in the drivers seat!
