I just wonder when the area will flood or if the flooding issues have been dealt with. There is a lot of construction going on in low lying areas and along the blue river.

Good question. I've already mentioned on here that seems like all the new development in the Little Blue Valley would be in danger of flooding. I'd like to see more green space buffers around the lakes. Jacomo and Blue Springs Lakes are surrounded by a lot of parkland on most sides, but there is a lot intense development going on near Longview Lake.

As long as people don't bitch about deer and raccoon eating their gardens and goin' through their yards to get to the lakes and rivers, I don't have a problem. Plus don't cry and whine when you hit a deer with your BMW and then demand for the city to hunt down the deer population. It's human population and traffic increasing...not the f$#kin' deer!

I finally divorced beer and proposed to whiskey, but I occassionally cheat with fine wine.
