Great photo's from around Kansas City and beyond......
Not sure if this is a regular here on the boards (FotoEdge) or not, but came across his Flickr site and thought I would share it.
If it has already been done, then forgive my reposting.
But compliments on the great shots and the trip down memory lane.

I really like the signs collection.

Humdinger is east of Paseo on 9th street just past Olive. The place hasn't changed since I was a little kid, which was back in the Triasic period.PumpkinStalker wrote: I've never seen the drive in Humdinger place....anyone else? Where on 9th?

Cool thanks. Is it good? Like Town Topic type stuff? Or would you avoid at all costs...

It's just west of Prospect. Used to have an awesome italian steak sandwich. Burgers are the real thing.PumpkinStalker wrote: Cool thanks. Is it good? Like Town Topic type stuff? Or would you avoid at all costs...

My cousin Danny used to be night manager at Humdinger's.
He tells great stories of it being open all night.

Yeah, that place is at 9th and Prospect by Olive Park Village Apartments. A co-worker eats there often. There's some funky stuff.

Food is good, staff is friendly. I would go more often but I usually don't carry cash. I'm pretty sure it is cash only.
The portions are much bigger than Town Topic. Town Topic is good, but I usually spend min of $10; drink, rings, double and the hunger is just short of being satisfied.
