I dont know if there is already a thread for this but I think it would be cool to keep up with the construction and progress of the Headquarters. Please post pictures.

Thats where I was going to put it but I think the Headquarters for JE DUNN deserves its own thread like H&R Block got its own thread.

The Dunns and their whining deserves their own thread.

Dunn is a name, not an abbreviation and as such should not be in all caps. Additionaly, this project is not in the P&L District. Finally, if you want to start a thread with photos of the project, go take some and post them.

I agree with kc12. this should have it's own. maybe it just can be moved to a better spot.

So who is the general contractor going to be? Would it be ethical for Dunn to hire themselves to do the work on their new building? Where is this office building going to be built?

JE Dunn starts building $40.5M HQ

JE Dunn Construction on Tuesday announced it has begun building a new headquarters that will anchor the East Village redevelopment east of City Hall in Kansas City.

Groundbreaking on the $40.5 million building began Monday. About 520 JE Dunn employees will work in the five-story structure southeast of 10th and Locust streets. Occupancy is planned for mid-2009.

Construction of the headquarters and an adjacent, $18.3 million parking garage for 780 vehicles had been delayed for about a year while the Tax Increment Financing Commission of Kansas City acquired property for the project.

Can't wait for all of the sub contractors to start CHANGE ORDERING JE Dunn's own job. They will get a taste of their own medicine.
