Apparently KC Tenants opposes the project publicly now, and had opposed it during EDC meetings via Kathleen Pointer (KCPS Senior Policy Strategist), an under the radar KCT Board Member.

I’m not the biggest fan of KCT but does this really need to be posted on every project on this board?

I wouldn’t even call her an “under the radar KCT board member.” She has been quoted as a board member in multiple news outlets and the connection has been made on this board before. It’s not a conspiracy
Yes, every time that she opposes a project in her official function as a KCPS representative, while also representing KC Tenants, it should absolutely be called out and posted as an update within each project thread. Are you worried that we're going to be inundated with these notes? Good. We need to show the real impact that KCT and their members are having. Lets stop sugar coating it. They've brought development to a halt.

While I don’t at all disagree with your sentiment, I think all that’s really being said here is let’s address specific issues relating to KCT and conflicts of interest in the KCT thread, and have individual project threads only pertain to that specific project so as to not lose the thread.

Deal. I haven't seen any of this previously mentioned, so:

Kathleen Pointer, KCPS (KC Tenants Board Member) spoke out harshly against the incentives request for this conversion at the LCRA meeting on 3/22/22. She made LOTS of comments, but namely;
1. That rent rates are not affordable to most people within the KCPS district.
2. That rent rates should be kept at today's quoted levels for the entirety of the tax abatement.
3. School district requests ..more time.. to analyze the project.
4. Need a new appraisal because of her perceived possible over-payment of the purchase price.
5. And on, and on..

KC Tenants has spoken out about this project since the last updates too:

Fortunately, incentives were approved and things seem to be progressing. Close call!

Oh my God someone died? That's horrible! I had totally missed this.
