Nothing would give me more pleasure than to have KCP spend $500 on KU football tickets.  :D

Seriously though, most KU fans are used to walking up and buying tickets at the stadium.  We haven't quite gotten accustomed to reserving our tickets before the season begins.  After all, we've only been a powerhouse program for one season.  8)

:-k  So what you're saying is that the sell outs should be ending in about a month?

You're right.  By the time Sweet Lew gets the Lawrence School District on the phone and hands out two for one's to the student section again - problem solved.  What's next, card board cut outs?????

Those extra student tickets had no bearing.  As has been stated before, KU has always handed out 2 for 1 tickets for the first game of the season.  Plus, those extra students had to find a seat in the visitor's section since there was no more room left in the student section.

Nice try though.

So they really weren't free tickets.

Got it.

I think nobody would care if KU fans weren't beating their chests about their attendance.

KU's sold out Allen for 90% of their games since 1985!    :P

They wanted to be sure Reesing could throw touchdowns from his own end zone.

Whoa....if KCFutobl did that...wouldn't it be appropriate for MU fans to blame it on "nothing to do in Nebraska" like they do for KU?

It was to show the steady progression in attendance during the Mangino years....not to brag about our attendance history.

"Jamal Greene, now a 20-year-old sophomore, is the father of two children from different mothers. Justice, an 11-month-old girl, lives in Kansas City, Kan., with her mother. Jamal Jr., a 3-month-old boy, is in Lawrence with Greene’s current girlfriend.

This is not what Greene had planned"

HAHAHAHA!  Yeah, he didn't "plan" for them.   They just showed up one day at the doorstep, dropped off by the stork.   What a total and complete loser.   I hope this piece of sh.t is booted off the team ASAP.

Seems kinda hateful.  Why would you want him kicked off the team?
